Education & Transition-to-Practice (TTP) Program
The Correctional Nurse Career Pathway Program offers an evidence-based curriculum delivered virtually that you can incorporate into your recruitment, transition to practice and onboarding. With intentional design, we can assist you with development of timely preceptor training, implementation of nurse residency opportunities and other evidence-based transition to practice strategies leading to nurse competency validation.
We also offer a Nurse Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner track to build and support a team of internal nurse educators for your correctional settings. Outcome: faster time-to-competence as an educator, intentional design for a strong and sustained professional development program, and ultimately improved nursing workforce outcomes associated with educational competencies.
